Panasonic 4K OLED TV
2013
Right after Sony introduced their 4K OLED TV at 2013 International CES, Panasonic unveiled that they also have a new OLED TV in the making . Beating its competitors, Panasonic revealed the world’s biggest OLED TV with high definition resolution measuring in with 56-inch screen. The most impressive thing about the 4K OLED-TV is not its 4K resolution but the picture characteristics of the OLED technology.
The picture quality is quite astonishing, each pixel is self-illuminating and can be completely turned off, giving unbelievable deep blacks and quoted contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. The Tv is 4mm at sides and is less than half an inch thick making it incredibly thin and weighs 27 pounds, a requiring a lot less power than a regular LCD or Plasma display. The company claimed its OLED panel was created by using the (red-green-blue) RGB method, which allows a wide range of colors to be displayed making the display really impressive. it’s the only OLED so far that ‘prints’ its OLEDs into position it’s a manufacturing process that’s considered to be much more cost-effective than the methods being used by the other well known TV brands.
According to Panasonic, this is “the world’s largest OLED panel produced by the RGB all-printing method.” Panasonic hasn’t revealed much information about the specs just yet nor have they mentioned the price. So far this is the only OLED which has got everyone talking and has made everyone excited more than any other OLED. Now neither can we wait for Panasonic to release more specifications nor can we wait for them to launch this brilliant OLED.
Along with the 4k OLED TV Panasonic also showcased 16 new LED/ LCD TVs that will be a part of their 2013 Viera program. These TVs extent across 32-inches to 60-inches and are designed keeping in mind customer’s preference. Panasonic also showcased a few new featureswhich they had to offer. One such feature is ‘My Home Screen’. This feature will be available in Viera WT60, DT60, ET60, and E60 Series and will allows each user to create their own personal home screen giving them quick access to their favorite content.
